Technical questions, honest answers

The details that do not belong on a landing page, kept here in full.

Which Odoo do you take as input?

Any of them: self-hosted, odoo.sh or Odoo Online, in version 17, 18 or 19. As output, your own Odoo or one we host. That is also how books left behind on 17 or 18 move to 19.

Does my accounting stay locked anywhere?

No. Your accounting is no longer locked inside the base that happens to carry it: you connect, you see what is inside, and you take away a database you can restore wherever you want.

Why not just use Odoo's standard XBRL export?

The standard export translates booleans into the user's language — you get faux instead of false, and the filing is blocked. It also breaks addresses on an apostrophe, replaces the general meeting date with today's date, and leaves out the statement of fixed assets. You often find out in Filing, three days before the deadline. Our tools head those problems off upfront, with error messages that name the field.

What exactly do you read during the diagnosis?

Totals, a table of investments, the size of your attachments. Aggregates only — the diagnosis writes nothing, and it commits you to nothing.

What if my file would be refused at filing?

The module replays the official arithmetic rules before the file is produced, and names every field that would not pass. You adjust in Odoo and regenerate as many times as it takes. What comes out has been checked against those rules — it does not excuse a line-by-line proofread with your accountant.
